Saturday

At Busse Woods for a nice afternoon walk

We were fortunate with another gorgeous weekend, so we started it off Saturday by heading to the bike trails for a nice walk.

The start of our walk, which ended up lasting 90 minutes and covered about six miles. Yes, we felt it Sunday morning, for sure. :)

Our day ended Saturday with a trip to Woodfield Mall, and dinner at Red Robin.

Sunday

Sunday was was our errand day, and while driving around town, Christian was planning our next road trip.

All the riding in the car started to wear the little guy down, so not long after lunch, he was ready for a nap.

Well rested (Christian, anyway) it was time to finish the weekend with our trip to IKEA.

Two hours later, the car was loaded and we were headed for home so Papa could put everything together.

By the time Christian woke up on Monday, all his toys had new homes, both in the nursery and the living room. It wasn’t long until (almost) everything was back scattered on the floor again, but Mama and Papa are already enjoying the extra space thanks to the new storage from IKEA.
