With each trip we take, we try to update it here on our site. Seeing that our goal is to make it to Maui at least once a year, you can imagine this section fills up fast. You can keep tabs on our overall travels here, but this page is the main page to learn more about our full vacations and where we're headed next.

Just like most people coming back from a vacation, it takes us a while to get back in the swing of things. Once we get caught up, it's sometimes a little hard to get this site updated, so there might be parts here and there that look a little light. Be sure to come back often to see the latest and greatest as we catch up and finish these sections.

It's pretty hard to explain in words what this first Maui trip meant to us. No matter how many times we come back to Maui (and there will be many), this first trip will always be special.

When you work hard day in and day out, you're eventually rewarded for it. Our Bahamas '07 Section features the cruise Kris received from his employer as a reward for 5 years of service. Right smack in the middle of a cold Chicago February, it was pretty fun for our first cruise. We'd definitely considering embarking on another cruise in the future.

Two full weeks in Maui. Need we say more? The second trip was just as perfect as the first, and we found ourselves in the same places as we did the year before. Afterall, how can you improve on perfection?

It truly was great. Once we landed, we already knew where everything was and after the first night, it felt like we never left. But boy, when you vacation in paradise and that last day comes, it feels like the shortest two weeks of your life.

With two previous Maui trips under our belts, we were becoming old pros at touring the Valley Isle. For our third trip, Kris' mother came along in honor of one of her milestone birthdays. And speaking of birthday, we got to celebrate Kris' birthday on the island, too.

This third trip was also the first time we got a chance to see the whales on Maui. Although it was the end of the whale watching season, we still had a few great encounters.
