weekend highlights 11/23
My goal this weekend was to get christmas shopping done, and i accomplished that goal.
On Saturday Kris and I went to Woodfield where I got 75% of my christmas shopping done. yeah!! In the evening I watched the Hawks game, but wasn't feeling well.
Sunday, morning I woke up feeling little better, however I didn't get moving until 4:00. About 4:00 I decided I was hungry, so Kris and I went to Noodles & Co, then walked around Old Orchard for awhile, before going to Barnes and Noble.
It was a productive weekend.

We were surprised how busy Woodfield was on Saturday, given all the talk and news about the economy and all. It was packed for the 4 hours that we were there.
Old Orchard, on the other hand, was somewhat busy around 4pm when we got there, but when we were leaving around 7pm (after an hour at Barnes), it was a ghost town. It will be interesting to see how busy it is there this weekend.
One of the good things (that I like, anyway) about getting all the shopping done now is we can still go to the malls next month and watch everyone race around in a panic. The satisfaction is in knowing you're all done with your shopping. :)
